The Sweet Cheeks Merino Sleeping Bag is designed to be worn with regular clothing underneath. We do not recommend the use of blankets over your sleeping bag.
This clothing guide is exactly that – a guide only. Babies body temperature and all clothing weights vary. Always take care NOT to overheat your baby and if it is too hot do not use a sleeping bag. As a general rule go by their neck or body temperature.
Due to Merino’s natural ability to absorb and release moisture, it can cool when hot and warm when cold. This creates a micro climate around the body. All the while it is helping to regulate your babies temperature. Babies are unable to regulate their body temperature by themselves until they are about 12 months of age.
